LIMITED WARRANTY FOR ORIGINAL CONSUMERS IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND CANADA


This Product (including any accessories included in the original packaging) is warranted to the original consumer purchaser against defects in material and workmanship (“Warranty”) as follows:

To receive Warranty service, the original consumer purchaser must contact the support center for problem determination and service procedures. Proof of purchase in the form of a bill of sale or receipted invoice from an authorized reseller evidencing that the Product is within the applicable Warranty period(s), MUST be presented to the support center in order to obtain the requested service.

EXCLUSIONS and LIMITATIONS

Shipping expenses to the service center are the responsibility of the consumer purchaser and are not covered under this warranty. This Warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship encountered in the normal, noncommercial user of the Product, and does not cover consumer instruction, delivery, installation, set-up, adjustments, cosmetic damage or damage due to acts of nature, accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, commercial use or modification of, or to any part of the Product. Damage resulting from use, accident or normal wear and tear is not covered by this or any warranty. This Warranty applies to the original consumer only and does not cover products sold AS IS or WITH ALL FAULTS, or consumable (e.g., fuse, batteries, bulbs etc.), and the Warranty is invalid if the factory-applied serial number has been altered or removed from the Product. This Warranty is valid only in the original purchaser’s jurisdiction, and only applies to products purchased and serviced in that jurisdiction.

NO WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OTHER THAN THOSE EXPRESSLY DESCRIBED ABOVE SHALL APPLY. MANUFACTURER FURTHER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AFTER THE EXPRESS WARRANTY PERIOD STATED ABOVE. NO OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTY OR GUARANTY GIVEN BY ANY PERSON, FIRM OF ENTITY WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCT SHALL BE BINDING UPON THE MANUFACTURER. REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AT SERVICE CENTER’S SOLE DISCRETION – ARE THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES OF THE CONSUMER. SERVICE CENTER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES CAUSED BY THE USE, MISUSE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT. NOT WITH STANDING THE FOREGOING, CONSUMER’S RECOVERY AGAINST SERVICE CENTER SHALL NOT EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT. THIS WARRANTY SHALL NOT EXTEND TO ANYONE OTHER THAN THE ORIGINAL CONSUMER WHO PURCHASED THE PRODUCT AND IS NOT TRANSFERABLE.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or allow limitations on warranties.  In such states, such limitations shall apply to the maximum extent permitted in the jurisdiction. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary from state to state. Outside the United States of America and Canada, this warranty does not apply. Contact your authorized retailer to determine if another warranty applies.

One Year Limited Warranty

We will, at our option, repair or replace, or issue of refund, for any product found defective in manufacture within the warranty period, provided that notification is given within the warranty period and the product is returned to an authorized facility. The warranty period is determined by the date of original retail purchase. To verify the warranty period, a copy of the purchase receipt is required (keep the original receipt for your record).

If replacement parts are used in making repairs, these parts may be remanufactured, or may contain remanufactured materials. If it is necessary to replace the entire product, it may be replaced with a remanufactured product. Warranty provisions shall not extend the original warranty period. The costs of shipping the product to us for repairs shall be borne by the customer.

In the event of covered defects during the warranty period, your exclusive remedy and Manufacturer’s entire liability will be for Manufacturer to repair or, at its option, replace the product at issue with a comparable product. Except for such repair or replacement, the sale, processing or other handling of this product is without warranty, even if any defect or loss resulting therefrom is caused by negligence or other fault.

This warranty does not apply to damage caused by accident, misuse, tampering, use of incompatible media or accessories, failure to follow operating instructions provided, commercial use, repairs performed by someone other than an Authorized Service provider, post purchase shipping-related damages, damage caused by fire, earthquake, flood, or other act of God, or damages due to abnormal or noncommercial operating conditions including pollution, salt, gas (sulfides), irregular power voltage, or if the product has had its serial number altered or removed. A charge will be made for such repairs. All future versions of software and hardware are not guaranteed to be compatible with this product. This warranty excludes all consequential damages, except in jurisdictions not allowing such exclusions or limitations. ION is not responsible for lost data or information. Warranty Service will only be provided in the country of original purchase.
